Product: HP DESKJET ALL IN ONE 2700

Will the same ink from Walmart not work in my printer if I’m signed up for instant ink? Ever since I changed the ink from the initial ink that came with the printer my printers Orange info light stays on or blinks and says it’s busy when I try to print.

@Kalymccarter, Welcome to HP Support Community!

No, once the printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink Program, you can only use the HP sent instant ink cartridges, store-purchased ink will not work with the printer.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Thank you for your response. I did not receive my instant ink before the ink that came with the printer ran out so I purchased some HP compatible ink for my printer at Walmart. It works but the information light stays on or blinks and the printer will sometimes say it’s busy when I try to print. I then have to unplug the thing and stayer it all over again. It’s so annoying. I just got a message from Instant ink saying my shipment was on the way. I can’t wait to get the new cartridges so I can run a normal printer again. I had no idea the ink I’m able to purchase for the printer would not really be compatible to the computer. I hope I don’t have any more problems. I’m set up for the 4.99 a month plan for InstantInk. I hope once I get this shipment everything will run smoothly. Fingers crossed.
